XIV Joaquin Rodrigo Olsztyn Guitar Festival 29.06-3.07.2025
REGULATIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE FESTIVAL
(guitar course and competition)
I General Provisions
- The organizer of the Joaquin Rodrigo Guitar Festival in Olsztyn, hereinafter referred to as the FESTIVAL, is the CANTORES VARMIENSES Artistic Association registered at ul. Bajkowa 5 in Olsztyn, hereinafter referred to as the ORGANIZER.
- The FESTIVAL will take place at the State Music School in Olsztyn at Kościuszki str. 39 and in the building of the Warmia-Masuria Philharmonic.
- Festival participants organize their own accommodation and meals.
- The Festival schedule will be available on the Festival website.
- The Course Organizer reserves the right to change the Festival schedule and the composition of the teaching staff.
II Qualification and Organization of classes
- The condition of participation in the Festival is the acceptance of these Regulations, acceptance of the application for participation with the attached proof of payment, acceptance of the "declaration of intent" (applies to underage participants – see point II/4 of the Regulations) by the Organizer.

- Participants who are under 13 years of age may take part in the Festival only if they are under the care of legal guardians.
- Persons who are 13 years of age but under 18 on the start date of the Course may participate in the Festival independently, provided that their legal guardian completes the declaration of intent attached to these regulations.
- Participants will receive confirmation of participation in the Festival by June 4, 2025.
- Course classes and competition auditions will be held in the building of the PSM I and II degree in Olsztyn, according to the Festival Schedule, based on the participation package or competition group selected by the participant..
III The responsibilities of teachers
- Course teachers teach in accordance with their own teaching methods, observing the principles of professional ethics.
- Teachers are obliged to inform the participant of their justified absence from classes in due time and make up for classes that did not take place on a date agreed with the Course participant.
- The teacher is not obliged to make up classes in the event of the absence of a Course participant.
IV Rights and obligations of course and competition participants.
- Participation costs are covered by participants in accordance with the selected package/group.
- Course/Competition participants pay participation fees by May 30, 2025 to the Organizer’s bank account (account number: 38 1020 3541 0000 5102 0262 3783), including in the transfer title: “Participant’s name and surname – Course/Competition Package/Group”.
- The COMPETITION entry fee is non-refundable. In the event of a written resignation in the COURSE by June 10, 2025, the Organizer will refund the Course participant the full amount paid. After this date, the refund amount will be reduced by PLN 250.
- In the event of a participant’s withdrawal from the Course, the Organizer will return the amount paid to the indicated account by September 10, 2025, in accordance with point IV/3 of the Regulations.
- Festival participants insure themselves.
- Festival participants are financially liable for any culpable damage or destruction of the School’s property.
- Participants who violate the provisions of these regulations will be removed from the Course/Competition at any stage of its duration, without the possibility of claiming a refund of fees.
- Any comments can be reported to the Organizer or the Festival Director.
V Final provisions
- The Organizer has the full right to record and photograph the participants' concert, performances in the competition, classes and workshop shows, as well as to use them for promotional and archival purposes of the Festival.
- Any form of recording events as part of the Festival without the Organizer's consent is prohibited.
- Each participant of the Course/Competition is obliged to send a signed GDPR clause (on personal data protection)
